Ava: Only to protect you, hon! And by the way, I didn´t call him. He called me. And just so that you know: we made out.

Brit: yeah right, you kissed Asthon as a kind of sacrifice to protect me. Sure!

Ava: Exactly, hon. To show you what kind of guy he is.

Eckhart's Eye On The Famous Three Wolf Moon T-Shirt

The documentarian and cultural critic in Eckhart could not escape the impact of the new t-shirt phenomenon: the Three Wolf Moon T-Shirt. President Barack Obama and Steve Jobs wear it, so does the rest of the world. Available online only from The Mountain company. Eckhart put the famous shirt on two models, photographed against the stark backdrop of nitty-gritty urban Los Angeles. Los Lobos in the City of Angels.

Coming This Summer: "Mulholland Drive"

Eckhart Schmidt has spent a lot of time on one of Los Angeles' most iconic roads, the hill topping Mulholland Drive. Home to Jack Nicholson and Marlon Brando, eternalised in many songs by Tom Petty, R.E.M. and Bob Seger, to name a few, inspiring painter David Hockney - the scenic road never fails to intrigue and fascinate.
Eckhart fell in love with the road. The results are a new photo novel and a documentary film.

Art Photo Exhibit:
"Mulholland Drive - Opening Scenes" a photo novel, opening July 10th, 2009 in Munich's renowned Gallerie Hoffman.
The accompanying photo book "Mulholland Drive - Opening Scenes" will be published by Belleville Verlag.

Documentary:
"Mulholland Drive" will air this summer on ARD German TV.
